About Hotel Costes
In 1995, on rue Saint Honoré and a few strides away from the place Vendôme, hotel Costes opens its doors with a new vision of a modern and luxurious hotel. Celebrated decorator Jacques Garcia’s concept would mirror the great palaces of the Nineteenth century adding a contemporary twist to the Napoléon III style, blending opulence with the utmost attention to travelers’ comfort.
The assortment of fabrics and precious woods, assembled in a perfect mix of dark tones, combined with the patio and an eclectic musical signature reflect the luscious ballet of the Parisian scene. In 2001, perfumer Olivia Giacobetti imagines a fragrance dedicated to the hotel, rum vapours, dust & beeswax.
The Brown candle becomes the olfactory hallmark of Costes. The Home and Body perfume lines are developed around Parisian venues: Place Vendôme, Trocadéro, Avenue Montaigne and Boulevard Saint Germain...
